Waste Reduction
MCS has a long history of great individual site efforts for recycling and waste reduction. Currently, we are developing district-wide programs to coordinate those efforts and provide sites with district support. We aim to educate our students and staff on the importance of individual and community participation in recycling, landfill reduction, and composting.
We look forward to documenting those efforts and reporting our progress in the upcoming months. Most importantly, we want our students to realize that "what they do makes an impact."
